INTER REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS 2008



The South of England sought seven of the Bucks Hornets Players to
represent. Morayo Soluade, Chris Owen, Durrell Charles,
Joe Shaw, Cameron Thomas, Samuel Egedi and Matthew Sharpe,
where they all played outstanding team basketball.

The annual weekend tournament ended the south losing two out
of five games, with ten regions competing. Their most difficult
game was against London, who won the whole competition
unbeaten and winning the championship for the second year
running.

Morayo Soluade was one of seven players to be selected to
join the England 1994 development squad, and one of the Honorary mentions went to Chris Owen.

All of the South England players will now progress to APC
(Area Performance Centers) for additional monthly training.

The Honey Bees presents the Sweat Shirts

The Bucks Hornets felt very honored
when the their partners the Honey Bees
Cheer leaders, presented them with
Official Bucks Hornets sweat shirts. The
Honey Bees will also be fundraising for
the Hornets and selling merchandise.

The Buck Hornets are looking forward to
the Honey Bees presence on their second
National League game against Sevenoaks
Suns and Ipswich Tomcats at home, Aylesbury Grammar School on Saturday 15th November 12.00
